Our clients based in Durham, near Wingate, are looking for an experience nurse to be based at their new surgery when it opens in November 2019, as a permanent member of staff.

They are a busy, recently modernized practice with 3 branch clinics, two of which are soon to expand in to newly built premises. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, proactive and caring member of their team, who strives to offer high standards of pet care and client service. They have a low staff turnover and a close and supportive team.

• Start Date: November 2019

• Full time position

• 40 hours per week

• Monday to Friday: 9am – 6pm

• Saturdays: 9am – 12pm

• No night duties / OOH

• Nurse clinics for those interested

• Generous CPD allowance

• Competitive salary commensurate with experience

• All applicants must be RCVS Registered

They boast a well-equipped practice with digital x-ray, in house lab, ultrasound and a high volume of surgical cases.

We are looking for a nurse with a positive attitude who is happy to muck in when needed! Your duties will include assisting the vet where required in surgery, taking x-rays, bloods, monitoring anesthetics, in patient care, nursing clinics, schedule 3 and more!
