Are you looking for your next step in your veterinary career? Our clients have an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join their team of friendly vets, nurses and support staff as a Senior Veterinary Surgeon in the lovely North Leeds. They are a we3ll-equipped practice with digital x-ray, ultrasound, CT, endoscopy, ECG, Doppler blood pressure, critical care monitors, ventilators, rabbit v-gels, dedicated exotic and small furry wards and a well-equipped theatre suite.

Vets are encouraged to work together and have weekly meetings to discuss cases and share knowledge learnt on CPD, there is a strong focus on well-being with monthly Schwartz rounds to discuss non-clinical aspects of their work.

• 4 days per week
• Equal share of the OOH rota (1:7)
• A day off is given after a night on-call
• 2 days off after the weekend on-call
• Holiday allowance is 5 weeks with an additional day off on your birthday
• CPD allowance is £1200 and 5 days
• Part time applicants welcomed
• Previous management experience is not a must as training can be provided

You will be covering all first opinion vet duties where required and have experience in all basic surgery and diagnostics with very good consulting skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years post graduate experience.
