Job Description

Our clients based in the beautiful county Durham are an independent, 1st opinion small animal practice. They are looking for an enthusiastic 6th full time vet to help their professional and welcoming staff with an increasing and very varied caseload.

Their main practice is fully equipped with a recently upgraded imagine suite and surgical equipment, they are a nurse training practice where all duties are shared equally. With friendly and experienced staff, the vacancy they have would suit a more experienced vet whose interests compliment those in practice namely exotics, behaviour, advanced surgery, acupuncture and greyhound / performance dogs.

• No emergency on-call duties
• 4.5 days per week
• 1:5 weekends (with generous time off in lieu)
• All duties shared equally
• CPD fully funded to certificate level if desired
• This position is ideal for a vet who likes clinical independence and excellent case continuity
• Salary and benefits commensurate with experience

You will be covering all first opinion vet duties where required and have experience in all basic surgery and diagnostics with very good consulting skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years post graduate experience.
