We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a team of 8 vets (6 FT) at a supportive independent small animal practice in Essex.

•           4-day week

•           1 in 4 Saturday mornings

•           No OOH

•           Annual leave and salary all dependent on experience.

•           RCVS, BVA and VDS fees paid. Generous CPD allowance.

•           Gym membership also included in the package.

The practice is more than happy to support a new graduate or a candidate returning to work, their team is very experienced and encouraging and their RVN's love to help!

In addition – the practice has invested their premises and equipment and have a certificate holder and one working towards a soft tissue surgical certificate. They can boast a brand-new ultrasound machine, new in 2018 video-endoscopy, digital x-ray and excellent in-house laboratory equipment. They have just completed a total refurbishment and extension of the current facilities to include separate cat waiting and consulting rooms.

We are looking for a good all-round GP Vet, and you will be covering all routine first opinion small animal work with consults and ops where required. You must be able to cover the basic surgeries including Bitch speys, dog castrates, lump removals among others.
