Our client are a locally owned veterinary practice in Southampton where exceptional animal care is at the centre of everything they do. They are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and established team.
This is a 40 hour a week role with just 1 in 3 Saturday mornings and no out of hours!
The bright and spacious surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards, with state of the art equipment such as digital x-ray and Endoscope, a dedicated nurse consult room and large prep area. They are a progressive practice who's goal is to provide world class clinical care at the very heart of our community.
The new Nurse needs to be a hard working individual with a strong emphasis on patient care and providing excellent customer service whilst working well within the team. You will have good general veterinary nursing experience, and have a genuine interest in animal welfare, enjoying the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike.

You will be covering all nursing duties where required including assisting in surgery, monitoring anesthetics, taking bloods and x-rays, in patient care, critical care, nursing clinics amongst others. The ideal candidates will be hard working, enthusiastic and down-to-earth with a proactive, positive attitude who thrives with a busy caseload. A confident level of general nursing is required and above all else, you will be passionate and dedicated to providing an outstanding service for our clients and their animals.
The practice is offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a funded CPD package as well as 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years UK experience.
