RVN, Permanent, Dorset (KH/12834)

This established, friendly veterinary practice offering a high quality work environment for vets and vet nurse are looking for an RVN to join the team.  They are a friendly and supportive team comprising of eight vets who are supported by a large team of nurses and receptionists.
 
This is a full time position and includes some ‘on-call' night duties on a rota and working 1:3 either Saturday or Sunday shift, with time off in lieu of weekend work.  Nights are on-call from home, with the PCA at the practice taking the phones.
 
The role involves supporting our supportive and friendly veterinary team covering a variety of shift patterns from 7am -10pm, involving theatre work, inpatient care and nurse clinics. No reception duties.  With lots of scope for personal development.

Veterinary facilities include digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and in- house laboratory and soon a dedicated dental suite with DR dental x-ray.   Nurses have a dedicated room for consulting.

You will be covering all nursing duties where required including in patient care, assisting in surgery, monitoring anaesthetics, taking bloods and x-rays, some nursing clinics etc.
