We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our client’s truly multidisciplinary team providing specialist led referral services, as a permanent member of staff.

Due to continued growth, this practice is looking for a Night Nurse Manager to be the main point of responsibility for Nursing staff during the evening out of hours service. They are looking for a RVN with experience in managing a large team and who are seeking a new opportunity.

To be considered for this role you must be:

• Experience in supporting staff

• Well organized and hold great administration skills

• A strong leader with great communication skills

• Have high clinical standards

• Already be in / have held a senior / managerial Nurse role

• Registered with the RCVS

Their night service is mainly inpatient care including high dependency, and out of hours emergencies. You will be expected to carry out effective managerial and administrative duties to enable the smooth running of your teams. You will also be providing continuous to nursing staff to ensure that performance and clinical standards are met.

We are looking for a nurse with a positive attitude who is happy to muck in when needed! Your duties will include assisting the vet where required in surgery, taking x-rays, bloods, monitoring anesthetics, in patient care, nursing clinics, schedule 3 and more!
