We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our client’s small animal practice based in South Yorkshire, as a permanent member of staff.

This independent small animal practice is looking for a part-time vet to join their excellent team of vets and nurses. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with sole charge and operations to work 3 days per week.

• Date: ASAP

• Days working; Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays

• 1:2 Saturday mornings

• Weekday hours: 8.30am – 6.30pm

• Saturday hours: 9am – 2pm

• Must be comfortable with sole charge / operations

• Ability to refer complex surgical / medical cases to alternate practices

• 100% small animal practice, small friendly team with a bonded client base from the local community.

You will be joining a small friendly team that consists of 1 part time vet, 1 veterinary care assistant and 4 registered veterinary nurses, alongside a bonded client base from the local community.

We are looking for a good all-round GP Vet, and you will be covering all routine first opinion small animal work with consults and ops where required. You must be able to cover the basic surgeries including Bitch sprays, dog castrates, lump removals among others.
