We currently have an excellent opportunity available for an enthusiastic and ambitious RVN to join their small animal practice in Hampshire, as a permanent member of staff.

• Opening Hours Monday to Friday: 8am – 7pm

• Opening Hours Saturday: 8.50am – 12pm

• Opening Hours Sunday: emergencies only

• One night on call per week

• 1:6 weekends on-call (followed with a long weekend off)

• No week night on-call before or after a weekend on-call

• Generous CPD allowance

• Pension scheme

• Everyone stops twice a day for hospital rounds 9-9:30 and 3-3:30. Vets and Nurses attend and discuss cases to help make sure patients are receiving the best care and treatment.

• We hold full clinic meetings twice a month and nurse meetings every couple of months, to discuss issues and possible improvements.

• Salary dependent on experience.

The nurses are heavily involved in clinical procedures e.g. Intravenous catheter placement, blood sampling, Dentistry and Radiography. They are also a cat friendly clinic and have a thriving pet health club.

We are looking for a nurse with a positive attitude who is happy to muck in when needed! Your duties will include assisting the vet where required in surgery, taking x-rays, bloods, monitoring anesthetics, in patient care, nursing clinics, schedule 3 and more!
