We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RVN to join our client’s small animal practice based in West Sussex as a permanent member of staff.

This is an exciting time to join a growing company that was founded over 50 years ago and has since formed an experienced and friendly team all of whom are committed to delivering outstanding veterinary treatment, providing special care to pets 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

There is an opportunity for a full time and part time nurse.

• FULL TIME: 39 hours per week / 4 days per week / 1:6 weekend)

• PART TIME: 15 hours per week / 1 day per week / 1:2 Sundays)

Experience Required:

• RCVS Registered

• Experience of leading and developing a nurse team

• Experience of proposing and implementing changes

• Experience of working in a hospital environment (Desirable)

• Proven track record of effective team working

You will be joining a fast paced and friendly team responsible for the nursing care of patients. You will support veterinary surgeons and liaise with clients regarding inpatients care with the Out of Hours Team.

We are looking for a nurse with a positive attitude who is happy to muck in when needed! Your duties will include assisting the vet where required in surgery, taking x-rays, bloods, monitoring anesthetics, in patient care, nursing clinics, schedule 3 and more!
