We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vet Surgeon to come and join our client’s friendly small animal practice as a locum member of staff to start ASAP, ongoing.

• ASAP start – locum, ongoing (at least until end of the year)

• Hours: 9am-7pm Monday – Friday with a 1 hour lunch break

• Every other Saturday morning 9am-12pm

• Ideally 5 days per week, however 4 days may be considered

• Flexibility to cover existing Vet’s holiday/CPD /Practice Management time – The existing Vet is Practice Manager/Clinical Director and so does need to  have 1 day of Admin out of the Practice

• Sole charge will be expected

• A wide range of surgical experience will be needed

• The existing Vet cannot provide any mentoring and the candidate will not be able to pass cases onto the existing vet

• Candidates will need to provide their own VDS cover

• Accommodation is available in the Practice

• All applicants need to RCVS Registered

We are looking for a good all-round GP Vet, and you will be covering all routine first opinion small animal work with consults and ops where required. You must be able to cover the basic surgeries including Bitch spays, dog castrates, lump removals among others.
