We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RVN to join our client’s small animal hospital based in Essex as a permanent member of staff.

• 8 Hour shifts between 7am and 11pm

• No OOH

• Weekends on a rota basis (The weekend rota is one in three either a Saturday or Sunday with a day off in lieu the following week for a weekend day worked. One in 12 is a full weekend which is both a Saturday and a Sunday but 2 days off the following week)

Our clients are a busy 24-hour hospital with their own dedicated OOH service. They are an excellent team of 16 vets and 25 RVNs and 7 SVNs based across 2 branches. They also have an excellent team of receptionists and support staff. They are well equipped with all the latest facilities including on site lab, full dental equipment, laser therapy and much more.

We are looking for a nurse with a positive attitude who is happy to muck in when needed! Your duties will include assisting the vet where required in surgery, taking x-rays, bloods, monitoring anaesthetics, in patient care, nursing clinics, schedule 3 and more!
