We currently have a fantastic opportunity available at our client’s small animal practice based in West Yorkshire, as a permanent member of their night team.

• 7 on, 7 off

• Pay competitive and negotiable; rising with hours and experience

This practice has grown extensively since 2000 from one vet to two qualified nurses and one trainee to the flourishing operation it is today with 10 vets, 12 qualified nurses, 3 trainee nurses, 13 receptionists, accounts manager, an insurance coordinator, practice manager and handy man.

They have a wide and interesting case load backed up by a large proportion of insured clients. They cover their own OOH, part of this is covered by a dedicated night vet for one week and a dedicated night nurse the next week.

They are based on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, and within a 30 minute commute of Leeds by train.

We are looking for a nurse with a positive attitude who is happy to muck in when needed! Your duties will include assisting the vet where required in surgery, taking x-rays, bloods, monitoring anesthetics, in patient care, nursing clinics, schedule 3 and more!
