We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our client’s small animal practice based in Portsmouth as a permanent member of staff.

Two of our vets have post graduate certificates and five others are working towards their Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP).

Our nurses also undertake continuing education and we have two nurses currently studying for an advanced nursing qualification in medicine. We are also very proud to be a registered nurse training practice.

We work a max 4-day week with no OOHs, ensuring a great work-life balance and hold regular team meetings to ‘check in' with each other and share clinical knowledge.

We have a team of almost 40 members including 10 vets and a nursing team of 15 and are dedicated to constantly improving our expertise and facilities.

We are looking for a good all-round GP Vet, and you will be covering all routine first opinion small animal work with consults and ops where required. You must be able to cover the basic surgeries including Bitch sprays, dog castrates, lump removals among others.
