We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced RVN to join to join our client’s small animal practice based in Southampton as a locum member of staff.

This small animal practice needs a confident registered veterinary nurse to join them from the end of October ongoing, until they find a full-time permanent replacement. This is an excellent opportunity where nurses will be expected to do consultations, theatre and ward work. And an accommodation allowance is available too!

• Date: Week Commencing: Monday 28^th October 2019 – ongoing

• Monday – Friday: Opening Hours 8.30am – 7pm

• (shifts will be varied depending on staffing levels)

• Normally shifts 8 hours but maybe 11 hours, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch paid

• No OOH

• Minimal reception work

• (would consider taking someone on earlier if required)

• Up to £60 accommodation allowance

We are looking for a nurse with a positive attitude who is happy to muck in when needed! Your duties will include assisting the vet where required in surgery, taking x-rays, bloods, monitoring anaesthetics, in patient care, nursing clinics, schedule 3 and more!
