Our clients are recruiting for an approachable senior veterinary surgeon to join their friendly team based near Crawley, West Sussex. This is a fantastic chance to work with a well- respected team and an established client base.

You will be joining a passionate team of 4 vets, 6 registered nurses, 2 student nurses, 2 veterinary care assistants and 5 receptionists.

Applicants will be confident with all routine surgical and medical cases and special interests will be welcomed and supported. A large element of the senior vet role will involve mentoring and supporting less experienced vets, helping them to develop to their full potential. The practice offers clinical freedom and the opportunity to work with a varied and loyal client base, working up cases to a high standard.

The practice can consider full or part time hours (min. 25 hours per week) with a weekend rota of 1 in 5 full weekends and 1 in 5 Saturdays. There is no OOHs and only occasional sole charge responsibility ensuring a lovely work/life balance.

You will be covering all first opinion duties where required and have experience in all basic surgery and good consulting skills. The practice is offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a funded CPD package as well as 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years UK experience.
