Permanent full Time Vet needed in Portsmouth – 100% Feline Clinic (SN/ 14714)

Our client, a modern, well equipped practice located near Portsmouth, are looking for a veterinary surgeon with a feline bias to join their team on a permanent basis.

**4.5 days

**Hours between 8.30am - 6.30pm,

**1:3 Saturdays - 4 hours,

**No OOH

** Salary up to 40K depending on experience

There will be 1 other vet / 2.5 nurses +Pm who is RVN & 1 FTE reception that you will be working alongside.

The practice is an RCVS and ISFM accredited, friendly, feline only clinic in Portsmouth - ten minutes from the seafront. They run as a two-vet clinic with 3 nurses, who are all RVN's. The team is complimented by very caring receptionists. The facilities include; digital dental radiography, ultrasound, ecg, in-house idexx biochemistry, haematology and electrolytes, doppler, tonometer, and k-laser.

This position is based on a 40-hour week to include a 1:3 Saturday morning. This will include some sole charge work. The clinics out of hours are covered by Vets-Now. The full rota will be discussed at the interview. Duties will include consultations, surgery including dentistry and investigative workups.

Due to one of their vets going back to sunnier climes, they require an enthusiastic, cat crazy Vet with at least three years’ experience. Confidence with sole charge is essential. Ideally you would have some experience with surgical dentistry and ultrasound, although further training can be given if needed. They encourage and welcome new idea, CPD and would support anyone wishing to complete their feline medicine certificate.
