Job Description

One of our long-standing clients, based in Hemsworth, are looking for a confident Veterinary Surgeon to join their excellent team of vets and nurses in West Yorkshire, on a locum basis starting from the beginning of November for 2 months initially, with a potential to extend this into 2021.

This is a superb practice, who are committed to bringing their clients high quality care via a modern, well-equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound.

• Full-Time position starting Monday 2^nd November 2020 for 2 months initially (with a possibility to extend into 2021)

• Will be required to work on a 2-week rolling rota

• Mondays to Fridays: 9am – 7pm

• 1:2 Saturday Shifts: 9am – 5pm

• No OOHs

• 30-minute lunch break

• Sole charge and will need some surgical experience (neutering etc.) and dental experience. (No recently qualified vets)

• Boast a team of 2 RVNs, 2 Receptionist, Practice Manager / RVN

• Good mix of clients and cases

• Candidates would need to have their own VDS cover as well as being registered with the RCVS
