Our lovely clients, based near Nottingham, have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their experience team.

You will be responsible for consulting, surgery, diagnosis and treatment of patients, inpatient care, supporting reception and nursing staff with regards to clinical services, customer service, pricing and estimating fees and dealing with client concerns.

They are looking for a clinically strong Veterinary Surgeon with leadership experience alongside good medical and surgical skills. You will have a minimum of 2 years small animal practice, be involved with the responsibilities noted above, work with high volumes of patients and have the ability to manage staff and deal with clients.

• Monday – Fridays: 9am – 7pm

• Full-time position working 39 hours per week

• 1:3 or 1:6 Weekends

• Salary depending on experience: up to £65,000

• Accommodation allowance: £6,600

• Vehicle Allowance: £2,500

• CPD allowance: £1,500 plus 3 days CPD leave

• BVA, RCVS and VDS fees paid

• All applicants must be registered with the RCVS

You would be joining a practice consisting of a 4-vet team, one of which has a certificate in surgery. The practice is fully equipped including a separate operating theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy with access to MRI and CT scanner at their orthopaedic referral clinic.
