One of our long-standing clients, based in Durham, is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their lovely team of Vets, Nurses and support staff on a permanent basis. They boast a team of dedicated vets, veterinary nurses and receptionists, offering individual areas of expertise.

You would be joining an independent practice, which has recently undergone some major renovations, bringing state-of-the-art equipment. This is an excellent time to join their wonderful team, who are offering the flexibility to work around your lifestyle along with job security and clinical freedom. Due to their expansion, they are looking for an additional Full-Time and Part-Time Veterinary Surgeons.

• Full-time: 4 days per week (36hours 8.30am – 6.30pm including 30-minute lunch break)

• Part-time: 2 to 3 days per week (either full or half days or a mix of both)

• Flexible working – you can alternate the number of days / hours you work week on week!

• Some Saturday mornings (8.30am – 12pm) on a rota, consults only

• No OOHs

• No on-call

• 15-minute consultation times

• 33 days holiday per annum (pro rata)

• CPD days and allowance

• Professional fees paid

• Discounted treatment for staff pets

• Salary dependent on experience (£31,000 - £51,000)

• Must be RCVS Registered
