Veterinary Surgeon - Part Time, Permanent - Aberdeen (SN/10044)

**£30,125 - £40,265 (pro rata) per annum
**22 hours per week

Our client are now seeking a permanent part time Veterinary Surgeon (VS), the role is responsible for the delivery of an efficient, professional and caring service to PDSA clients, providing a high standard of customer service and clinical care whilst also promoting pet wellbeing and delivering preventive services.

The hospital building is well equipped and has been recently refurbished to provide a new dispensary and more consulting space allowing us to meet the demands of this busy small practice. The caseload is very varied.

They are a friendly welcoming team; CPD is encouraged and self development encouraged with the help of an experienced team of 4 vets, 3 RVNs and 3 VCAs. Although a small hospital, we pack a lot into a small space - 4 consulting rooms, theatre , prep area, radiography room with ultrasonography, separate dog and cat kennelling.

They aim to promote a healthy life for all our pets by preventing, educating and treating sick and injured animals with passion and compassion.

OOH is fully outsourced ; clinical staff typically work 1 Saturday morning in 4 with time off in lieu the next week.
Aberdeen has easy access to the beach and Cairngorms . There is an airport which links to major UK cities - and Europe.

You will be covering all first opinion duties where required and have experience in all basic surgery and good consulting skills. The practice is offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years UK experience.
