We have an excellent opportunity for a passionate and experienced registered veterinary nurse (RVN) to join a lovely family run small animal practice in Hertfordshire. This role is a Maternity cover starting 11^th May through to end of November.

• 11^th May – end November

• Full-time hours

• Monday to Friday:  8:30am – 5pm

• 30-minute lunch break

• No OOH’s

• Weekends would only need to be covered due to sickness or annual leave.

• Salary is £20,000.00 to £26,000.00/year (based on a 40hr week)

The role consists of assisting vets and general nurse duties. The ideal candidate will be caring and competent and a good team player, easy-going, friendly and has good communication skills.

As a veterinary nurse, you'll be involved in the hands-on nursing care of a range of animals, providing both emergency and routine healthcare. You'll work alongside veterinary surgeons to promote animal health and welfare through responsible ownership and play an important role in the education of pet owners.
