We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced RVN to join a busy but friendly practice in Gloucestershire on a permanent basis.

Our clients require an addition to their busy but friendly and supportive small animal team. They are an RCVS tier 2 small animal surgery and recognised training practice with access to modern anaesthetic monitoring equipment including capnography, non-invasive blood pressure monitoring, ECG, pulse-oxymetry.

They actively encourage CPD with their nurses previously achieving behaviour qualifications and working toward the diploma in advanced nursing.

The ideal candidate will be cheerful, confident in all areas of nursing and be very client-focussed. It is particularly important to have excellent communication skills as in additional to medical/surgical nursing, you will be expected to take part in nursing consultations, providing the highest standards of veterinary care to their clients.

They are looking for a nurse with a positive attitude who is happy to muck in when needed! Your duties will include assisting the vet where required in surgery, taking x-rays, bloods, monitoring anaesthetics, in patient care, nursing clinics, schedule 3 and more!
