An opportunity has arisen for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join a lovely small animal practice in Hertfordshire as a locum ongoing member of staff starting May 2020.

• Locum Veterinary Surgeon position

• May - Ongoing

• Full-time – 40 hours per week

• 3-4 days per week

• Weekday shifts: 9am - 7pm

• 1 in 2/3 weekends (Saturday 9am-5pm / Sunday 10.30am - 3.30pm)

This is a lovely purpose-built premise which is regularly investing in new equipment to allow them to expand their services. You will be joining a diverse team of passionate veterinary professionals committed to providing truly exceptional care.

As a veterinary surgeon at the practice you will use your practical skills and knowledge of animal physiology, nutrition and medicine to diagnose illnesses, prescribe medicines and perform surgery. You'll also manage anaesthesia during procedures and will work to prevent disease in animals.
