Job Description

Night Vet, West Sussex (JS/14186)

Our clients Independent, family owned practice based in West Sussex are seeking a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their lovely practice in West Sussex.

• Salary £45,000-£60,000 subject to experience and certificate/advanced practitioner status.
• £1500 CPD budget
• Memberships paid for

The role will involve seeing first opinion emergencies alongside providing continuous care for our inpatients. We are looking for a vet who can efficiently investigate cases to a high standard and have a medical mind-set, as well as being competent with emergency surgeries sole-charge. Good personal skills are essential, and the candidate will be encouraged to maintain continuity with clients and able to see cases through to a conclusion.

One of our many strengths is the support we offer each other. We have several certificate holders and vets studying for certificates on site who are happy to share their knowledge and experience - support is available out of hours for tricky cases or the odd exceptional caseload. You will be working with experienced and ECC dedicated RVN's who are both friendly and excellent team players. ANAs are also on site to allow our nurses to nurse.

Although experience in emergency care is preferred this is not essential and we would consider applicants with a strong passion for this discipline.  Funding towards an ECC certificate will also be considered.
