We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vet to join a fantastic team at a small animal practice in Hertfordshire.

You would be joining a friendly team, consisting of 4 full-time Vets, 4 RVN’s, 3 SVN’s, 3 Receptionists, 1 Administrator and a Practice Manager.

• 1 in 2 Saturdays (mornings 8am - 1pm)

The Saturdays are worked 1:2 and are either half (08:00 - 13:00 h) or full (08:00 - 17:00 h) days. They are closed every Sunday.

This is a busy practice, situated in Hertfordshire, with lots of nice countryside around, as well as easy access to London and all major motorways and airports.

The practice has a high level of modern equipment including in-house laboratory, video endoscope, tonopen, ECG, digital X-Ray and an MyLab 25 Gold E-SAOTE ultrasound scanner. Separate cat and dog wards and All rooms are air conditioned.

The practice offers 25 days holiday per year, plus an extra day (Birthday leave) on the day or nearest day to your birthday, on top of every single bank holiday. CPD is encouraged and well supported with an excellent CPD budget and additional staff benefits. The development of specific interests is encouraged and supported including study to certificate level. The experienced vets at the practice would be mentoring new graduates.

Private medical insurance is also part of the package. The practice requires a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience and will offer a competitive salary, which will depend on experience.
