Permanent Vet Surgeon BERKSHIRE (SC/13853)

Our clients have an exciting opportunity available for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team in Berkshire!

• Full-time

• 40 hours per week

• 1 in 3 weekends (days only) for which time in lieu is given

• Late evenings and bank holidays on a rota basis

The practice is a fast-paced small animal practice, often with 20+ ops per day, so a keen interest in schedule 3 procedures is highly desirable.

The practice is well-equipped, including digital x-ray, consult rooms, separate kennels, cattery, prep and theatre.

Your responsibilities will include to perform consultation and medical treatment for a range of small animals where required including surgical operations (including neutering and general surgery) and the necessary tasks associated with such a procedure; anaesthesia, monitoring, etc. Carry out tests such as x-rays, blood samples and ultrasound scans. Immunise animals against different types of disease.
