SA Head Vet (Maternity Cover), Edinburgh (SN/13693)

Our client we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced head veterinary surgeon to join their team in Edinburgh, on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.

The current team of five vets works across 3 sites, with access to ultrasound, digital x-ray and laparoscopy equipment, as well as an in-house laboratory.

They are looking for someone who works to excellent clinical standards, is enthusiastic and passionate about veterinary medicine and will drive the practice forward both clinically and commercially.

You will be an excellent communicator that can dynamically lead a clinical team, whilst being instrumental in strategically planning, facilitating and delivering regulatory compliance across all practices.

This is a full-time role over 4.5 days per week with 1:2 Saturday mornings, 9am-12pm, although there can be some degree of flexibility with the rota for the right candidate.

• You will be covering all first opinion duties where required and have experience in all basic surgery and good consulting skills. The practice is offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a funded CPD package as well as 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years UK experience.
