Excellent Opportunity - Clinical Director (Veterinary) Brighton (Ref: SN/13659)

Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Director to join their Tier 3 Practice in Brighton.

The hospital is fully equipped with diagnostic and monitoring equipment of a high standard, and has attained RCVS hospital status, and they are working to double the inpatient capacity of the hospital over the next 12 months as well as the installation of a CT unit.

I would describe this role as 90% clinical and 10% management. That said, they really need someone who is happy to accept the responsibility of being the go-to person at their hospital. The running of the practice as a whole is carried out by a much wider management team (of which this CD will be a part of).

Any candidate would need to have good clinical experience and capability, be good at dealing with clients, share ideas and work well in a team.

Management tasks. Day to day decisions to help the 'shop floor' run smoothly. Monthly audits and 6 monthly PDRs of some of the VS staff. Handling of complaints.

You will be covering all first opinion vet duties where required and have experience in all basic surgery and diagnostics with very good consulting skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years post graduate experience.
