We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join our client’s independent mixed animal practice.

This practice is looking for an experienced mixed or large animal vet to join them ongoing to cover holidays. This practice are 70% small animals, 30% equine and farm – they are looking for a candidate who is confident with cow caesareans. They are looking for someone to join them from the 27^th September and have a flexible role on offer.

Usual role (but this can be flexible and changed where and if required):

• 3.5 days per week

• 1:2 Saturday mornings

• On-call either Saturday / Sunday (would be helpful but again not a deal breaker)

• Backup on-call 1 night per week

• 1 night on-call per week

• Nice, private accommodation is available

Opening hours:

• Weekdays: 8.30am – 6.45pm

• Saturdays: 8.30am – 11.45am

We are looking for a good all-round GP Vet, and you will be covering all routine first opinion small animal work with consults and ops where required. You must be able to cover the basic surgeries including Bitch sprays, dog castrates, lump removals among others.
