Night Vet Nurse - Cork - Locum/Fixed Term Mat Cover - ASAP Start (SN/13432)

Our client based in Cork, are looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join their out of hours team providing 6+ months of maternity cover.

You will be working alongside an experienced vet providing triage and intensive care at an excellent standard to a variety of interesting cases involving both emergency patients and Gilabbey in-patients. 

• 2+ years' experience preferred.
• Salary: Up to €27,500per annum pro rata with CPD pro-rata.
• Working hours: An average of 10 nights per month working on a 7 night on, 14 nights off basis with 1:6 weekends (days). Options to swap rostered shifts with other team members where feasible. In - house CPD provided. 
• VDS and VCI fees included.
• Potential start date: December-February 2020

You will be covering all nursing duties where required including assisting in surgery, monitoring anesthetics, taking bloods and x-rays, in patient care, critical care, nursing clinics amongst others. The ideal candidates will be hard working, enthusiastic and down-to-earth with a proactive, positive attitude who thrives with a busy caseload. A confident level of general nursing is required and above all else, you will be passionate and dedicated to providing an outstanding service for our clients and their animals.

The practice is offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a funded CPD package as well as 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years UK experience.
