Job Description

Our clients based in North Yorkshire are looking for 2 new small animal Veterinary Surgeons to join their lovely team on a full-time basis (part-time applicants considered). This practice aims to provide the best possible health care for all their clients and patients, foregrounded by their excellent and experienced team of Veterinary Surgeons, Nurses and reception staff they are able to do just that!

You would be joining a busy small animal practice, who are proudly independent, contrasting with the mainly corporate practices in this area. As an independent practice, they are able to re-invest any profit that they make into their facilities, equipment and staff to ensure that both the animals and employees receive the best possible treatment!

• 4 days per week

• 3x 8.30am – 6pm / 1x 8.30am – 7pm (Weekdays)

• Weekends a minimum of 1:4 (flexible: if you are wanting to do more weekends and less weekdays this can be arranged)

• Saturdays: 8.30am – 2.30pm / Sundays: 8.30am – 10am

• Daily: mix of consults and surgeries

• Vehicle is required (mileage will be reimbursed)

• Accommodation can be provided for the right candidate

• 5 weeks holiday

• 3 days CPD + £1000

• Certificates supported and encouraged

• RCVS fees paid for + 1 other subscription

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience (needs to be confident with basic surgeries; spays, neuter)

• Very competitive salary subject to experience
