Job Description

Our client, a Tier 3 Small Animal Veterinary Hospital in Scotland requires a motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN who would like to work in a forward thinking practice, excellent colleagues and with the possibility of future advancement into a Lead role.

•37.5 hours per week  (4 days considered)
•One night per week on-call and 1:5 weekend (half day off week following)

•Digital X-ray, Latest laboratory equipment, Sevofluorane & Humphrey ADE anaesthesia
•We offer referrals in orthopaedics, Ultrasound and Laparoscopy (keyhole surgery)

 They are looking for:  
•Ambitious, compassionate, excellent communicator.
•Wants to contribute to the continuing development of a Veterinary Hospital.
•Genuinely enjoys and is proud of the work of a Veterinary Nurse.
•Clinical coach training would be desirable but not essential.
•Possibility for Senior/lead role for the right person

You will be covering all nursing duties where required including assisting in surgery, monitoring anesthetics, taking bloods and x-rays, in patient care, critical care, nursing clinics amongst others. The ideal candidates will be hard working, enthusiastic and down-to-earth with a proactive, positive attitude who thrives with a busy caseload. A confident level of general nursing is required and above all else, you will be passionate and dedicated to providing an outstanding service for our clients and their animals.

The practice is offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a funded CPD package as well as 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years UK experience.
