Job Description

Our client are currently looking for a Registered Vet Nurse who is highly motivated, hardworking and who is keen to develop their knowledge and skills to cover maternity leave ASAP. This practice is a busy 3 branch practice and pride themselves on delivering a high standard care to all of their patients.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a friendly, loving and supportive team at our Seaside Surgery. The candidate will be working in all areas from theatre, anaesthesia, nurse clinics and diagnostics with a wide variety of cases and a lot of hand on nursing.

The role is for 40 hours per week, working a rotating shift and 1 in 7 weekends with time off in lieu. We welcome all applicants with a minimum of 1 year experience who are highly motivated and who are keen to learn.

You will be covering all nursing duties where required including assisting in surgery, monitoring anesthetics, taking bloods and x-rays, in patient care, critical care, nursing clinics amongst others. The ideal candidates will be hard working, enthusiastic and down-to-earth with a proactive, positive attitude who thrives with a busy caseload. A confident level of general nursing is required and above all else, you will be passionate and dedicated to providing an outstanding service for our clients and their animals.

The practice is offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a funded CPD package as well as 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years UK experience.
