Our clients are looking for a production animal vet to join their busy, friendly team who are looking to expand. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced vet to join a dedicated practice in Bedfordshire.
Farm Vet
Full-time hours (happy to consider part time)
Varied case load
1 in 5 rota, with days off in lieu of weekends worked
Excellent benefits
Company Car and phone provided
Competitive Salary
While there is a varied case load, with a true mixture of dairy, beef, sheep and small holders, we are looking for a vet who is interested in small ruminants and camelids. They have a number of large clients and believe there is scope to develop this side of the practice.
This role provides huge scope to develop both clinically: through supported time on farm and involvement in the clinical working groups; but also professionally, with the potential for management responsibilities for the right applicant. Our clients strive for clinical excellence and push themselves to use evidence-based medicine wherever possible.
The practice is based on the border of Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, just 40 minutes from to London by train, with easy access to the rest of the country by road. You will be joining a small, friendly team of 5 vets, supported by the national team of 80. The practice is more than happy to consider applicants wanting to work part time, to complement their current part time employees. The role involves a 1 in 5 rota, with days off in lieu of weekends worked.
Benefits of the role include a great salary, reflective of experience, pension scheme and childcare vouchers. BCVA membership, RCVS fees and VDS cover are paid. Company car and phone included. A generous CPD allowance and certificates/further qualifications are actively encouraged and funded, as the practice strongly believe in investing in their staff’s development.
