Our clients well-established small animal hospital in Buckinghamshire is seeking a third vet to join their OOH team as a full-time, permanent member of staff.

This modern hospital is very well equipped with 3 theatres, many cages including 10 walk in kennels, separate cattery and exotic wards, a state-of-the-art laboratory and the option to use the self-contained flat for the duty vet.

• A 7 nights on 14 off rota is worked

• Previous experience of OOH working and ECC is desirable

• Attractive salary - £45 - £55k DOE

• 28 days holiday pro rata

• CPD allowance, potential to undertake a certificate

• RCVS and VDS fees paid

Vets work alongside an experienced RVN.  As an OOH vet you would be expected to have excellent communication skills, be experienced in emergency medicine and surgery as you will be dealing with a variety of cases during the night, as well as providing continuing care for our existing in patients.
