Head Nurse- Permanent - Dundee - Up to 27K (SN/13208)

Our client, located in Dundee, require a permanent head veterinary nurse to join their amazing team on a full time permanent basis.

Head or senior nurse experience is not necessarily required for this role, but you will be keen to take responsibility for running the clinical areas of the practice. You will also have excellent communication skills with both clients and colleagues. Enthusiastic, self-motivated and organised, you will enjoy keeping pace with our wide and varied case load and running nurse-lead clinics in our new, purpose-built surgery.
 

• Salary £25-27k depending on experience (negotiable)

• One late night to 8pm a week

As a Head Nurse, you will be required to be RCVS registered with strong nursing skills and be able to lead and mentor a team, coach and guide colleagues and support the trainee nurses as their clinical coach. You will be committed to developing nurse clinics whilst providing a high level of care and with the opportunity to develop skills and Individual interests within a modern medicine environment.

You will be covering all nursing duties where required including assisting in surgery, monitoring anesthetics, taking bloods and x-rays, in patient care, critical care, nursing clinics amongst others. The ideal candidates will be hard working, enthusiastic and down-to-earth with a proactive, positive attitude who thrives with a busy caseload. A confident level of general nursing is required and above all else, you will be passionate and dedicated to providing an outstanding service for our clients and their animals.

The practice is offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a funded CPD package as well as 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years UK experience.
