Locum RVN, SOMERSET (KH/13031)

Our client is looking for an RVN from 16th December onwards whilst they recruit for a permanent nurse to join their team.

The locum RVN will be the only nurse in the team, so needs to be confident with all aspects of nursing.

The role involves travelling across to a nearby branch with the vet for one hour of consulting each weekday afternoon.  There will be some reception work involved during the day and also on Saturday morning.  There are no out of hours duties. 

Shifts would be a combination of 8am-5pm or 10am-7pm, working alongside an animal care assistant and one vet.  Reception work would be required between either 8am-10am or 5pm-7pm and whilst at the other branch.  Saturdays are on a 1:2 (or possibly 1:3 basis as we are hoping to have an additional member of staff to join the rota in December).  Saturday hours are 8.30am-12.30pm.

Over the Christmas period the surgery will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years day, otherwise the surgery will be open as usual.

There is a 2 bedroom flat above the surgery available if accommodation is needed.
