An exciting opportunity has arisen at our client’s small animal practice, to join their friendly team as Senior RVN, based in Leicester.

The ideal candidate will be a confident, experienced RCVS Registered veterinary nurse with excellent general nursing skills, a desire to lead by example with great customer service skills and a cheerful, pragmatic approach. Experience of clinical coaching would also be advantageous.

• Start Date: ASAP

• Full time position – 40 hours per week

• 1:3 weekends

• Monday to Fridays: 8am – 7pm

• Saturdays: 9am – 5pm / Sundays: 10am – 3.30pm

• Shifts split between the above hours

• No OOH

• Generous CPD (including funding of Certificates)

• Contributory pension scheme

• Paid memberships (RCVS, BVNA, VDS)

• Competitive salary: £25,000 - £27,000

• All applicants must be RCVS Registered

By joining this small animal practice you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills fully including theatre work and nurse consults. You will be a team player with outstanding communication skills and the ability to give and take feedback usefully. You role will be key in providing support and structure to their Head Nurse to deliver their practice ambitions.
