Our lovely clients based in Leeds, are looking for an extraordinary Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their day team. They are looking for great applicants who are enthusiastic, confident and have an outstanding grasp on the ‘hands-on’ clinical work.

This small animal practice is a busy 24/7 practice, so clinical experience is essential. Familiarisation training and induction but they aren’t looking to hire someone who needs extensive training. You will see a varied and interesting case load in this role; regularly taking orthopaedics and complex soft tissue surgeries as well as hospitalisation for those in need.

• Start Date: ASAP

• Full time – 40 hours per week

• Typically split into 3 longer days and a half day

• 1:4 weekends

• Flexibility is a necessity as their day team are required to be able to work from 7.30am – 8.30pm (but not in the same shift!)

• Generous CPD allowance, which is actively encouraged

• Competitive salary dependent on experience

• All applicants must be RCVS Registered

This role would suit a confident candidate with excellent technical skills. Clinical experience assisting in a high-volume veterinary practice, as all of their staff are cross-trained. You will often be responsible for everything from the patient being admitted to being discharged. You will be confident at administering and monitoring anaesthesia and placing catheters.

Boasting excellent equipment including; fully digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, endoscope as well as blood pressure, ECG and Capnography. To further complement their facilities, they have 2 Certificate holders with 3 more in the process by their progressive team members.
