We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head Vet Surgeon to join one of the longest established practices in the London area and has been a veterinary hospital since the seventies when the BVHA was founded.  WSVH has recently been reinspected, and once more achieved RCVS Tier 3 Small Animal Hospital status.

There are four branch surgeries, all located close to their hospital, and all of which can function independently, but also refer emergencies and more complex cases into the main hospital.

The role is to act as head vet with some managerial and clinical responsibilities, under the guidance of the joint clinical directors. The role is based primarily one of the branch practices with the ability to work cases up at the main hospital as required.

The practice encourages CPD & study for further qualifications and offers 5 working days to complete this.

• Some On call duties and weekends/Saturday via shared rota

We are looking for a good all-round GP Vet, and you will be covering all routine first opinion small animal work with consults and ops where required. You must be able to cover the basic surgeries including dog castrates, lump removals among others.
