Our client are a private practice in the North East of England seeking a vet with some experience to join their fantastic team!  

They are a 3 branch independent surgery (with no plans to go corporate) with a lot to offer the right candidate. 

Their close team of vets, nurses and receptionists have animal welfare at the heart of everything they do and this is very important when looking to recruit a new vet.  

They are offering a full time position, 4 days per week 8.30am-6.30pm Mon-Fri with 1:3 Saturday 9am-5pm and no OOH. Vets are required to work at all 3 branches on set days which will involve some sole charge work. They provide 4 weeks holiday per year, generous CPD budget and pay all professional fees. Wage is negotiable depending on expereince and accommodation can be included.

The practice covers small animal and exotics, however does not require any new candidates to have any experience with exotics as they already have 2 vets who have special interest in this area, although anyone wishing to learn more is always welcome. 

The North East of England is one of the few places which offers spectacular coastlines as well as beautiful rolling countryside right on your doorstep! With lively local towns and cities, there really is something for everyone here.

You will be covering all first opinion duties where required and have experience in all basic surgery and good consulting skills. The practice is offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a funded CPD package as well as 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years UK experience.
