We currently have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated RVN to join our client’s friendly and committed medical team. This opportunity would suit an enthusiastic RVN who enjoys providing high standards of patient care.

Joining this practice as a rotational nurse is an ideal stepping stone for nurses that would like to gain more experience of working within a referral practice.

• Start Date: ASAP

• 1:8 weekends (with time off in lieu)

Key Duties:

• Assisting the Veterinary Surgeons with any procedures / consultations /inpatient checks

• Working alongside their dedicated discipline nurses within Wards / Medicine / Imaging / Surgery

• Monitoring of patients under anaesthesia

• Assisting front of hours / dispensing duties

Previous experience of nursing within a referral practice is not essential – full training can be given.

We are looking for a nurse with a positive attitude who is happy to muck in when needed! Your duties will include assisting the vet where required in surgery, taking x-rays, bloods, monitoring anesthetics, in patient care, nursing clinics, schedule 3 and more!
