Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our clients bubbly and welcoming small animal practice based in Reading.

• This is a full time and permanent role on offer

• The practice is well equipped, including digital x-ray, consult rooms, separate kennels, cattery, prep and theatre.

• You must have a keen interest in schedule 3 procedures that will be highly desirable

• We roughly do around 20+ ops per day so the team is very experienced

• Working 40 hours per week

• 1 in 4 Weekends Saturdays only

• Late evenings and bank holidays on a rota basis

• No OOHs

The ideal candidate will be someone with a confident and professional attitude towards working, as well as having strong communication skills with the clients and staff members within the workplace.

We are looking for a nurse with a positive attitude who is happy to muck in when needed! Your duties will include assisting the vet where required in surgery, taking x-rays, bloods, monitoring anesthetics, in patient care, nursing clinics, schedule 3 and more!
